Blogging always seemed an American concept - something used by Carrie or Ugly Betty. I guess I want to move on from the childhood diary and put my views and thoughts to a new audience. I doubt many or even anyone will read this, only the nosey ones who like to have a sneaky peak at other people's diaries!
As a recent graduate I feel I need some structure in my life - hunting for jobs day after day is deflating and a blog seemed like something that could add a bit of structure to my ever diminishing days.
So here is my first post - an introduction - a recent graduate, struggling to find a job like so many others, happy but not content, ambitious but currently not achieving, competitive and having to compete hard.
Blogging seems such a romantic idea, that somehow, somewhere, someone may read this ramble and be going through a similar thing. In reality, it may be just a random weirdo who thinks I am wasting my time (no offence!) I find it relaxing and a relief - like a childhood/teenage diary. Not that I wrote in that much - it was there when I fell out with a boyfriend or when my parents wouldn't let me go to a party but reading it back, I never wrote in it when I was happy. I'm hoping blogging changes that.
My blog - to add structure to my day, a way to vent my thoughts and views - happy /sad and hopefully help me figure out why I thought of doing this.
